Getting Started with CommissionIQ

CommissionIQ is the commission management platform for U.S. insurance agents and agencies — fully integrated with GoHighLevel. This guide walks you through installation, setup, and your first reconciliation in under 10 minutes.

1. Install from the GHL Marketplace

  1. 1.1 In your GoHighLevel sub-account, go to Settings → Integrations → Marketplace.
  2. 1.2 Search "CommissionIQ" and click Install.
  3. 1.3 Approve the requested scopes: contacts.readonly, opportunities.readonly, users.readonly, locations.readonly.
  4. 1.4 You'll be redirected to CommissionIQ to finish onboarding.

2. Choose your profile type

Agency / FMO / Broker

For agencies managing producers, sub-agencies, hierarchy splits, and FMO uplines.

Independent Agent

For single-agent shops tracking personal commissions across carriers.

3. Connect your carriers

Add the carriers you write business with. Most major U.S. carriers are supported — UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, Humana, Cigna, BCBS, Mutual of Omaha, Aflac, MetLife and 30+ more. For carriers without a direct connection, upload statements as CSV or Excel.

4. Upload your first statement

  1. Go to Reconciliation.
  2. Drag your CSV/XLSX file in.
  3. Select the carrier and map columns (CommissionIQ remembers your mapping for next time).
  4. Click Process. Within seconds you'll see matched, missing, and overpaid commissions.

5. Sync results back to GoHighLevel

Commission data writes back to GHL contact records as custom fields and opportunities. Run reports and click Export to GHL to push monthly summaries into your CRM workflows.
